This week and next, we have 4 sessions with Constable Gordon. He has been teaching us about safety around vehicles in a range of situations - on roads, in driveways, and in car parks.
The children have been learning that no matter where they are, every time they need to cross a road, cross a driveway, or walk through a car park... they need to...
First we practiced on a pretend road...
The children learnt that they must keep looking to the left and right even while they cross.
They must always hold an adults hand...
We then practiced using the zebra crossing, making sure we follow the same steps...
Next week we have two more sessions with constable Gordon. I wonder what we will learn next?
