Ocean

Deep, enormous, stunning,

Why is the sea not warm?

Strong, wild, vast,

The sea is so beautiful,

Pure, broad, vital,

Why do you put the water in the beach?

Eternal, calm, tranquil,

We will protect you.

For World Oceans Week, we wrote descriptive poems about the ocean. We were focusing on using strong adjectives, and brainstormed these together. The students also had to use questions in their writing, which was a new skill for many of them. This is a fabulous piece of writing Grace, keep up the great work!
